Hurricane Juliette was a let down to say the least. NW swell shear cut the size in half, but we still were fortunate to receive more warm water and some very consistent surf. The steep angled SE swell made for some very wedged rights and some long out to sea lefts, such a fun session! The snub nose has become the ultimate small wave performance SUP surfboard. The tail template / tail block is based off one of my small wave shortboards, the outline based off the Infinity i69 Albee Layer Model, and all with the idea the squish the board down. When it is glassy or light onshore, this board flies. It drives without pumping and lifts through foam climbs and floaters. Sometimes the carves feel extremely similar to my shortboard. The extra lift and speed this board generates allows for 1 to 2 extra turns on every wave, it really gives the option to shorten your line and take advantage of every opportunity! Currently, I have been riding the MFC Kai Quad 2's on this board
