After an amazing week on contest in Morocco it all came down to the final day where the last 4 men were ready to do battle for the first ever Mirleft Stand Up Pro - Morocco event title. With some of the most epic wave conditions ever on tap the riders did not let us down.
An epic 3rd day of action in the Main Event, with quarterfinal action in full size surf.
Check out all the action from Day 2 of Location X as the Tour headed back to Aglou in South Morocco. With increased swell we saw athletes catch some huge sets.

World Tour athletes have arrived in Morocco and have a few days downtime before competition gets underway for this historic Roving event exploring 100s of kilometers of untouched and pristine surf. We are proud to announce that Morocco will host this year’s Location X event, following directly on from the La Torche Pro France and running from the 8th – 16th November. Final details are still being confirmed with all travel, logistic and broadcast details to be released next week.
While it will not be a rankings event this year, it will adopt the exhibition status, with full prize-money and featuring the Top 20 athletes on the Men’s Stand Up World Tour, plus 4 wildcards.
There will then be a Trials event for international athletes, from which the Top 4 will advance into the Main event and a Moroccan Trials, to celebrate the emerging local talent, again from which the Top 4 will advance, making it a 32 man event.
The most unique part of this event will be the roving component – with hundreds of kilometers of coastline to choose from and pristine untouched pointbreaks during Morocco’s prime surf season, the foundations have been laid for an unparalleled experience for athletes and spectators (media) alike and the ultimate close to a spectacular 2014 season.
