Après 6 éditions à dana Point, pour 2014 la course a lieu à Salt Creek beach Park.
The Elite Race:
This year again there will be heats & finals for the Elite Race. Top finishers in the morning heats will advance to the afternoon finals.
The Open Age-Group Race:
Open to everyone! The course is a friendly, fun and moderately challenging four-mile paddle. Entrants can race on any board of their choosing, including surfboard class, 12’6″, 14′ and Unlimited. You can expect a Guinness World Record number of entries.
The SUP Distance Race:
The Distance Race course is a scenic but challenging approximately 9.5 mile course from Doheny State Beach to San Clemente Pier, and back.
The SUP Relay Race: A crowd favorite and super fun event.

Talk about impact zones out on the surf...Watch Kai and Connor fall while paddling too close together. In the end, a wave gently picks up Kai bringing him to the front to win this race. Congratulations Kai ! And to all the competitors who duked it out with those bigger than usual waves at Salt Creek...job well done! You stood up and paddled through that wall of foam and white water. Congrats to all of you.
