Bonne planche pour le surf, elle part vite, un peu moins apprécié en ballade

The Wide Point Range

The wide point range is based around the width of 32 inches, creating stability in a variety of lengths. The 8'2 and 8'10provides short board performance, catering for a heavier or novice rider, that's still wanting a shorter board. Moving up to the popular 9'5, which starts to provide a bit more glide, it's quite often the choice for some one coming down in size from their first entry level board. The two longer versions are 10'5 with the latest addition of the 11'2 providing excellent glide incorporated with stability, yet still maintaining a high level of performance for a rider up to 115kg. This is achieved with the use of a monoconcave bottom shape throughout the range, for a fast central rocker whilst maintaining rail curve for maneuverability. Rails are low to moderate volume, which are pinched as you move forward for good acceleration and control. Tails are area squash tails for responsiveness, with pulled in noses with generous rocker for being able to deal with waves which are a little hollower. Wide Point. Performance with comfort.

Starboard 9'5x32 Widepoint

This video features the Starboard 9'5x32 Widepoint. For large humans desiring speed, stability and agility. Wide Point performance with longer lines for good glide, while maintaining curve in outline and rocker for superior agility of a board this size. Fine rails forward produce smooth entry and acceleration into the wave with refined midsection and tail rails for responsive rail turning and cutbacks. Mono-concave bottom shape produces lift acceleration and speed, which feeds into V off of the tail for release, pivot and tight turning. Easy fun and high performance all rolled into one.

Plus d'info sur le starboard wide point 9'5

"The Wide Point 9'5 provides extra stability due to a flatter deck, improved glide and agility. A new squash tail outline, combined with added V off the tail, provides for more responsive, edgy cutbacks. Finer forward rails improve acceleration, with smoother entry into the wave and through cutbacks. Bottom shape has been refined with a deeper concave running through the middle to accelerate water flow with V brought in earlier to aid release. Easy fun, high performance. Mono concave at nose to double concave"
